Do you have an anchor?

Though i've never seen it,I'm told that Niagara River has a couple of interesting signs upstream of the famous falls. There is one by the side of the river visible to daredevil boaters that reads,"Do you have an anchor?" Then just downstream is a second sign that says, "Do you know how to use it?"
"Do you have an anchor?" i have found that a solid anchor is indispensable to one who intends to live fully. To have an anchor is to be centered and well grounded. It is to have a vital spiritual base.
"Do you know how to use it?" For no amount of faith is enough if it is not used.
We all come to what has bee described as the " the Red Sea place" in our lives That is the place where there is no way back and no way around. We have to go through.
Even a small ship can venture into deep waters and weather major storms if it has an anchor. But it is likely to be tossed about and even capsized if the anchor is not used.
What will you do when you get to the next" Red Sea place" in your life?Do you have an anchor?
Do you know how to use it?

Do you have an anchor? such a question... it had left me pondering.Do i know how to use it?well..thats for me to find out.A great reminder for me whenever im in a red sea place...you know the places i mean..we find ourselves up against a critical loss,an irreversible setback or a course of action that cant be changed. There is no way back and no way around..we have to go through.

LIFE IS SINK OR SWIM...so everyday, is a decision. do i keep swimming no matter how tired?or do i give up and just sink and drown in troubles and hopelessness? whichever way, i am glad I have God. I may not love him everyday, but i know he loves me still and remains a strong steadfast anchor for me.he keeps me sane while i live this crazy life. everyday, he is my anchor in the face of dear friends like you, mir, in the face of my son gabriel. i am blessed when i think about that.

you are so right..there's no other anchor we can ever rely on than God...as long as we keep trusting Him our ship wont capsize or sink.God constantly and unconditionally love us...and we can never give back as much as He had given us..the most we can do is keeping our Faith and know how to use it.
